Hey ya'll!!

Well, one week before we leave.
I cannot believe that Monica and I are finally going back to T'iu Rancho, Bolivia. We will be there a month and are trying to pack for that. Monica is in Nevada arranging things for her family while I am here in Texas arranging things for my dogs.
Lots of last minute details. We are packing for different climates (hot and cold) at different altitudes from 9,000' to 17,000'. I leave from Austin and she leaves from Reno and we meet in Dallas. Then a 24-hour journey to Cochabamba, Bolivia via Miami and La Paz. This will be my 9th trip to serve in T'iu Ranch. I feel that I am going home after almost 3 years. More to come . . .

Preparation for IVIM trip to Bolivia Oct 24 - Nov 22, 2009

After 3 years I am finally traveling back to my beloved Bolivia. Monica Bruesewitz, from Nevada, and I are traveling as United Methodist Individual Volunteers In Mission. We went to a weekend training and certification given by the General Board of Global Ministries Individual Volunteer in Mission officials to prepare for this trip.

We will once again be working with the missionaries, staff, and youth of T'iu Rancho in Payacollo, Bolivia. www.granerfamily.org is the website for the GBGM Missionaries in T'iu Rancho, Ardell and Gordon Graner.

We are almost 1 month away from leaving. We are asking for prayers most of all, donations if any are able, and also for the openness to embrace the people of T'iu Rancho who are working to strengthen their community solidarity through spiritual and educational opportunities.
